PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home gateway device utilizing information, detected at a vehicle, to control a system different from the vehicle.SOLUTION: A home gateway device 30 related to the present invention includes: a communication unit 31 which receives information related to the organism of at least one of a driver and a fellow passenger of a vehicle and transmitted from an in-vehicle communication device 20, and the destination information of a vehicle 10 registered in a car navigation system loaded on the vehicle 10; and a home electric appliance control unit 32 which changes the setting information of a home electric appliance 40 when it is determined that the information related to the organism indicates a registrant registered beforehand, and the destination information indicates a home in which the self-device is installed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
