PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method which allows for starting of a synchronous motor, even if integrated into a structure including a sine wave filter, a transformer, and a long cable.SOLUTION: A control method used in the control unit UC of a power converter D connected with a synchronous motor M by three output phases, for starting the synchronous motor M, includes: a first step for determining a voltage applied to the output phase depending on a reference current (Iref); a second step for determining a frequency applied to a stator depending on the stator frequency (ωs); and a step for applying the first step and second step so as to enable rotation of the rotor of the synchronous motor M at the applied stator frequency, for a given period. In particular, it is effective for a structure including the transformer TR and the sine wave filter SF between the power converter D and the synchronous motor M. |
