摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handheld device capable of efficiently collecting an optoacoustic signal of an object and a corresponding method.SOLUTION: A handheld device 1 comprises an irradiation unit 6 which irradiates an object with electromagnetic radiation, especially light radiation, and detector units 3, 4 which detect the ultrasonic waves emitted from the object with light irradiation.
