PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of a Cu-Zn-Sn-based alloy capable of sufficiently reducing the depth of defects and stably producing a high quality ingot even when a rod-like ingot consisting of the Cu-Zn-Sn-based alloy is continuously cast.SOLUTION: In a continuous casting method of a Cu-Zn-Sn-based alloy where a rod-like ingot consisting of the Cu-Zn-Sn-based alloy is intermittently pulled out and continuously cast, the pulling-out of the ingot is performed by an intermittent pulling-out cycle consisting of a pulling-out step, a pushing-back step and a stopping step. A pulling-time ratio Rdefined by R=(t+t)/tsatisfies R≥0.6 and a stopping time ratio Rdefined by R=t/(t+t+t) satisfies R≥0.02 when a pulling-out step time is t, a pushing-back step time is tand a stopping step time is t. The number S(cycles/min) of the intermittent pulling-out cycle is within the range of 60≤S≤600-108×Rand 60≤S≤600-794×R. |
