PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner having a dust collection part capable of attaining continuous suction force and storing a large amount of sucked dust.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner S includes: a cleaner body 1 having a body intake port 11 for sucking dust-containing air and an electric blower 14 for generation suction force; and a removable dust collection device 10 arranged between the body intake port 11 and the electric blower 14. The dust collection device 10 includes: a nearly cylindrical outer casing 30 for forming an outer shell; an inner casing 40 concentrically arranged inside the outer casing 30; and an openable bottom lid 31 arranged in the lower part of the outer casing 30. Dust-containing air sucked from the body intake port 11 is rotated along the inner surface of the outer casing 30 so as to collect dust on the bottom lid 31. The outer casing 30 includes: an inflow pipe 38; and an opening to which the inflow pipe 38 is connected. The width of an upper part is different from that of a lower part in the opening. |
