The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications. Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and device for blocking a harassment number, so as to reduce the power consumption of an intelligent mobile terminal. The method comprises: acquiring communication information; acquiring a harassment number blocking list; determining whether the communication information is in the harassment number blocking list; and if the communication information is in the harassment number blocking list, rejecting the access of the communication information.
