PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power generation system and method using serial fuel batteries.SOLUTION: A power generation system has at least one fuel reformer 300 which is configured to receive first fuel-electrode non-gas flow 22 and mix the first fuel-electrode gas flow 22 with reformer fuel flow 12 to form reformed flow, a flow splitting mechanism 400 for splitting the reformed flow into a first part 40 and a second part 50, and a fuel passage 410 configured to make the first part 40 flow into a fuel electrode entrance 221 of a first fuel battery 200. The first fuel battery 200 generates first power 101 by using at least a part of the first part 40 as fuel, and a second fuel battery 500 receives the second part 50 and generates second power 102 by using at least a part of the second part 50 as fuel. |
