This waste heat recovery system is provided with: a cooling water circuit in which a heater core for a front heater and a heater core for a rear heater are connected in parallel; and a waste heat recovery apparatus configured to carry out heat exchange with exhaust gas from an internal-combustion engine so that the heat of the exhaust gas is recovered by cooling water. In this waste heat recovery system, the waste heat recovery apparatus is arranged so as to be connected in series to both the front heater core and the rear heater core in order to recover a greater amount of exhaust gas heat.
