A control method and a control device for a photovoltaic air conditioning system. The control method comprises: first, determining a light intensity value of an environment in which a photovoltaic system is located; then, comparing the light intensity value with a preset light intensity range; and in the case where the light intensity value is higher than the preset light intensity range, if an air conditioning system is in a cooling mode and the current set temperature is higher than the lowest temperature of the cooling mode, reducing the set temperature of the air conditioning system, and if the air conditioning system is in a heating mode and the current set temperature is lower than the highest temperature of the heating mode, increasing the set temperature of the air conditioning system. Also disclosed is a photovoltaic air conditioning system. The photovoltaic air conditioning system effectively utilizes the electric energy generated by a photovoltaic system under the condition of guaranteeing the degree of comfort of a user.
