PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring the use of SAAS (Software As A Service) application for post-processing scan data generated by a client device.SOLUTION: A method and a device for monitoring the use of SAAS (Software As A Service) for post-processing scan data generated by a client device are provided. A management system receives a charging model of the SAAS application including a post-processing function of the SAAS application available for a user of the client device. The charging model includes a piece of information representing the price for the use of the post-processing function. The management system receives a piece of information on the use of the post-processing function by a user and generates a charging report with respect to the post-processing function.
