PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the resolution of an echo image caused by an echo signal from a target while reducing a virtual image.SOLUTION: There is configured a signal processing device 10d comprising: a first signal generation unit 16a for generating a first signal on the basis of the echo signal to be processed; a second signal generation unit 20b for generating, on the basis of the echo signal to be processed, a second signal whose resolution is lower than the first signal and whose side lobe is reduced more than the first signal; and a synthesis unit 21 for synthesizing the first and the second signals.
