PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap ring which reduces the cost of manufacturing and allows a pinion shaft to be appropriately fixed to a housing.SOLUTION: A snap ring 1 has a shape like C in which a circular body part 1A has a cutout and a clearance is thus provided between both ends. The snap ring 1 has an inclined face 1a on one face which is inclined so that a wall thickness is gradually reduced toward the outer diameter, and a protrusion 1b on the other face which protrudes along the axis. |
