The present invention relates to: a peptide for inhibiting fat accumulation, necessarily comprising an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1; a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity, comprising the same; and health functional food for preventing or improving obesity. The peptide for inhibiting fat accumulation according to the present invention has a function of inhibiting accumulation of fat tissues by inhibiting differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into adipocytes, and therefore can be used widely in prevention or treatment of obesity.
