PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the use of a character in a game, the character corresponding to an article that is properly acquired by a player.SOLUTION: A game device can enable a character corresponding to a properly acquired article to be used in a game. Specifically, the game device outputs an article, which relates to a character of a game and has attached thereto name information indicating at least a specific user in a visible or invisible state; and performs processing relating to the game, which uses the character corresponding to the article. The game device also determines whether the character corresponding to the recognized article can be used in the game, on the basis of information obtained according to a recognition result, including the name information attached to the article. |
