PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect trap designed to facilitate simple and efficient servicing, maintenance and cleaning.SOLUTION: The trap includes: a back housing 12; a frame 14 (14a-14d) swing-mounted on the housing 12; and a cover 16 comprising openings allowing insects to enter the trap. The frame 14 supports one or more lighting portions such that the frame 14 and the lighting portions can be moved from a first position, where they overlie the back housing 12, to a second position, where they lie clear of the back housing 12 such that insect catching means which may be fitted over the back housing 12 is readily accessible for replacement during servicing. |
