The present invention relates to a mobile terminal having a flexible display unit, and a control method therefor, and the mobile terminal having a flexible display on which screen information to be outputted changes according to the bending characteristics thereof comprises: a memory unit in which an output order of a plurality of pieces of screen information is stored; the flexible display unit for displaying at least one part of the plurality of pieces of screen information according to the output order; a sensing unit for sensing the posture of the flexible display unit with respect to the direction of gravity; and a control unit for determining the screen information to be outputted on the flexible display unit on the basis of the position of an outwardly bent end portion between both end portions of the flexible display unit, wherein the position of the outwardly bent end portion between both the end portions of the flexible display unit is determined with respect to the posture of the flexible display unit, and the control unit displays, on the flexible display unit, the screen information of which the output order is such that the screen information comes before the at least one part of the plurality of pieces of screen information with respect to the at least one part thereof, when the outwardly bent end portion thereof is at a first position in a state in which the at least one part of the plurality of pieces of screen information is outputted on the flexible display unit, and displays, on the flexible display unit, the screen information of which the output order is such that the screen information comes after the at least one part the plurality of pieces of screen information with respect to the at least one part thereof, when the outwardly bent end portion thereof is at a second position different from the first position. |
