The present invention provides a subsea connection comprising an umbilical termination head (1) comprising a housing (23) and at least one connecting line (4), where each connecting line comprises a first mating means (3); a subsea base unit (5) comprising a housing (24) and at least one connecting line (22), each connecting line comprises a second mating means (13) arranged to be connected with the cooperating first mating means (3); and locking means (11) for locking the termination head to the subsea base unit, wherein the second mating means are fixed to a stab plate (14) and kept in a retracted position before connection of the termination head and the base unit, and the stab plate is arranged to move the second mating means towards the first mating means during connection. |
