PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system capable of adjusting an accessory unit which detects the position of a movable optical member without performing a complicated operation even when the accessory unit is attached to or detached from a lens unit including the movable optical member.SOLUTION: A lens system comprises: a lens unit including a movable optical element; first detecting means attachable to and detachable from the lens unit and for detecting a position signal corresponding to the position of the optical element when attached to the lens unit; reference recording means for recording a reference position signal when the optical element is in a reference position; and calculating means for calculating the position of the optical element from the position signal and the reference position signal. The accessory unit includes mode setting means for setting adjustment mode in which the reference position signal is recorded or normal mode in which the reference position signal is not recorded, and attachment and detachment determining means for determining whether the accessory unit is attached to or detached from the lens unit after the reference position signal is recorded. When the accessory unit is attached to or detached from the attachment and detachment determining means, the mode setting means sets adjustment mode. |
