The portable data carrier has an electro-mechanical converter that is formed for generating electrical energy for supplying an electrical load. The electro-mechanical converter is formed as nano-generator (3). The electrical load is supplied from temporary storage of electrical energy without providing electric energy storage device such as capacitor or accumulator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for generating a calculation result in a portable data carrier; and (2) a method for generating a password, particularly one-time password. |
