The present invention relates to a method for preparing a sustained release tablet. The sustained release tablet prepared according to the present invention maximizes the medicinal effect of herbal medicine extracts included in the tablet by rapidly being enriched in a stomach and suspended for a long period of time, and effectively masks the odor of the herbal medicine extracts to improve convenience in administration. The method of the present invention comprises: a step of manufacturing granules from a solution containing herbal medicine extracts and a pharmaceutically acceptable additive using a fluidized bed granulator; and a step of manufacturing tablets from the granules.
