The present invention relates to a method for producing a cuprous oxide pigment which shows improved thermal and chemical stability by surface-treating the copper (I) oxide (Cu_2O) nanoparticle. According to the present invention, agglomeration can be minimized, and thermal stability as well as chemical stability associated with pH are enhanced, owing to the surface treatment of the Cu_2O nanoparticles. In addition, stability in colors and images is secured in the Cu_2O pigments as a raw material used in ceramics. |
