The present invention relates to a current mirror type LED driving apparatus using a super-diode configuration. The current mirror type LED driving apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a current source; a light emitting unit consisting of a plurality of LED strings which are connected to the current source in parallel; and a current mirror unit installed between the LED strings and the current source, and consisting of a plurality of current mirror circuits installed so that respective LED strings have the same structure. Each current mirror circuit constituting the current mirror unit includes a transistor installed between the LED strings and the current source, and a feedback circuit unit consisting of a diode and a buffer amplifier installed between a collector terminal and a base terminal of the transistor. According to the present invention, the current mirror type LED driving apparatus has an effect of improving current balancing capability which is evaluated by accuracy and uniformity, and minimizing a current loss while not using additional headroom voltage. |
