<p>A hip prosthesis (100) is described, comprising: a stem (101) adapted to be inserted in the neck (60) of the femur (6), a prosthetic head (104) shaped as a basically hemispherical cup, adapted to articulate with an acetabular cup (5) inserted in the acetabulum, a first prosthetic component (2; 102) connected to the stem (101) and having the shape of a basically hemispherical cup with concavity towards the concavity of said prosthetic head, and a second prosthetic component (3; 103) connected to the prosthetic head and arranged inside said first prosthetic component. The second prosthetic component (3; 103) is a ball having a circular section with centre (0); and the centre of the radius of curvature of the first prosthetic component (2; 102) coincides with the centre of the radius of curvature of the prosthetic head (4; 104) that coincides with the centre (O) of the ball (3; 103).</p> |
