1. A printing apparatus comprising:
a setting unit configured to enable or disable a setting that execution of a print job is permitted without input of a job password, which has been added to the print job, from a user authenticated by an authentication unit; a storage unit configured to store a print job to which a job password has been added; a determination unit configured to determine whether a user has been authenticated by the authentication unit; and a print control unit configured to, if the setting is enabled and the user has been authenticated, execute the print job stored in the storage unit without input of the job password from the user, wherein the print control unit is configured to, if the setting is enabled and the user has not been authenticated, execute the print job stored in the storage unit after input of the job password from the user, and wherein the print control unit is configured to, if the setting is disabled, execute the print job stored in the storage unit after input of the job password from the user.
