The present invention relates to a body valve assembly for a shock absorber, which comprises: a valve body comprising one or more compressing passages installed on the bottom end unit in an internal tank among cylinders of the shock absorber to let an operation fluid flow from the internal tank to a reservoir chamber in between the internal tank and external tank during a compression stroke of the shock absorber, and one or more tensile passages for letting the operation fluid flow from the reservoir chamber to the internal tank during a tensile stroke of the shock absorber; a body retainer placed on the bottom of the valve body to have one or more compression connecting passages penetrated vertically to be connected to the compression passage; a back pressure chamber formed on the top side of the body retainer to be connected to the compression connecting passage; and a pilot valve mounted in between the valve body and the body retainer, whose edge is built in the back pressure chamber and which selectively opens and closes the flow of the operation fluid headed toward the compression connecting passage. The present invention can improve the degree of freedom of control of damping force, and prevent a rapid change in damping force to enhance ride comfort. |
