The present invention relates to a wireless communication collision avoidance method in a home network system including a plurality of sub devices and a main device, which is to transmit data to the main device in the conversion of an active mode by periodically converting a sleep mode and the active mode according to a fundamental communication period (T). The wireless communication collision avoidance method in the home network system comprises the steps of: (a) each of the sub devices transmits the data regarding state information to the main device if the sub devices is converted into the active mode after the fundamental communication period (T); (b) each of the sub devices produces a random number if an ACK signal which is a response signal regarding the reception of the state information is not received from the main device; (c) each of the sub devices calculates an avoidance communication period (Tp) to avoid communication collision by applying the random number; and (d) the corresponding sub device performs the sleep mode during the avoidance communication period (Tp) instead of the fundamental communication period (T) till the next active mode. According to the present invention, as the communication collision is prevented even if devices installed between multiplex houses such as an apartment complex performs data communications by using the same communication channel, there is an effect in which a communication failure of the sub device caused by the communication collision is prevented as a result. |
