Disclosed is a firmware update system including a plurality of network devices. The network devices are operated by firmware of the same version. If power is supplied to the network devices and the network devices are activated, the network device accesses a server and checks whether firmware of a new version exists. If the firmware of a new version exists, the network device downloads the firmware of a new version and updates the firmware. The network device randomly determines a download initiation time point and starts to download the firmware of a new version from the determined time point. |
