摘要

The present invention relates to a liquid formulation composition for ocular administration, containing melatonin or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. According to the present invention, melatonin and cyclodextrin having a specific structure are contained in the composition of the present invention at a specific composition ratio. Thus, irritation on eyeballs remarkably decreases due to melatonin which is a pharmaceutically active ingredient, thereby enhancing medication compliance and significantly improving safety and storability as well. The composition of the present invention can be also useful as a liquid formulation for the ocular administration for efficiently delivering an therapeutically effective amount of melatonin to an affected area.
