PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the insulation performance and rigidity of an insulation box body which constitutes a refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator comprises: a salient part which is formed at a corner between a sidewall and a back face wall, and salient to a front face side; a vacuum insulation material which is arranged so as to be partially overlapped on the salient part in a width direction between an inner box which forms an internal face of the back face wall, and an outer box which forms an external face of the back face wall; a first interposition member which is filled, or sealed, or coated to a clearance between the vacuum insulation material and the inner box which forms the internal face of the back face wall, and glues, or bonds, or fixes the vacuum insulation material and the inner box; and a second interposition member which glues the vacuum insulation material and the outer box. The back face wall has a recess which is recessed to a rear side with respect to a salient part, the vacuum insulation material is integrally glued to the inner box and the outer box in the salient part, and the first interposition member is filled, sealed, or coated to a partial range of a space between the inner box and the vacuum insulation material in the recess. |
