PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of stopping a heating operation of a heating part when a fixation belt is damaged.SOLUTION: A fixation device 1 includes a fixation belt 3, a belt guide member 6, a heating part 7, a first temperature detection element TH1, a second temperature detection element TH2, and a heating stop part. The belt guide member 6 is disposed in an area counter to the heating part 7 and supports the inner peripheral surface of the fixation belt 3. The heating part 7 heats the fixation belt 3. The first temperature detection element TH1 detects a temperature of the fixation belt 3. The second temperature detection element TH2 contacts with an inner surface of the belt guide member 6 and detects a temperature of the belt guide member 6. The heating stop part stops a heating operation of the heating part 7 on the basis of the outputs of the first temperature detection element TH1 and/or the second temperature detection element TH2. |
