PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sealability by wedge effect.SOLUTION: A first reduced-diameter portion 16 and a first taper portion 14 are formed on an outer circumference of a body 10 included in a fuel injection valve. The first reduced-diameter portion 16 is a portion to which an annular seal material 40 is attached. The first taper portion 14 is formed on a side opposite to an injection hole with respect to the first reduced-diameter portion 16, and is of a shape in which body is gradually enlarged radially toward the side opposite to the injection hole. The fuel injection valve is configured to be sealed by pushing the seal material 40 against the first taper portion 14 by a gas pressure in a use state in which the fuel injection valve is inserted into an attachment hole of an internal combustion engine and the gas pressure is applied from an injection side of the seal material 40. In a portion continuous to the first taper portion 14 on the side opposite to the injection hole on the outer circumferential surface, a second reduced-diameter portion is formed into a shape in which the body 10 is reduced radially so as to form a clearance 4b between the continuous portion and an inner circumferential surface of the attachment hole. |
