<p>A computer-based method of providing information within a specialist social support network wherein providers of 5 specialist social support services are referred to individuals in need of such services, and wherein an individual's need for a specialist service is identified during contact between the individual and a provider of a basic service during provision thereof, advice of the individual's need for the specialist 10 service provided to a referral system by the provider of the basic service, and the referral system advises a relevant lead provider of the specialist social support service needed of the individual's need for the service, the method comprising: providing a computer system accessible by the lead provider of 15 the specialist social support service to facilitate administration of a care program for the individual which addresses the individual's specialist service need.
