PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means, when folding an absorbent article to which a liquid material such as a flavoring agent is applied and folding a package including the absorbent article packed therein, capable of stably applying the liquid material to the absorbent article and a prescribed position of the package and capable of preventing contamination of a production line due to the liquid material.SOLUTION: A liquid material application method includes: an application step S2 of applying a flavoring agent 26 to one surface side of a sheet-like object material 2; and a folding step of valley-folding the object material 2 to which the flavoring agent has been applied, at least in the longitudinal direction once or more. In the application step S2, the flavoring agent 26 is applied to only a part in no contact with a part of the object material 2 that is pressed in the thickness direction of the object material 2 in a pressing step S3. |
