PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which displays a plurality of images, so that a user can easily grasp contents, without requiring the large movement of a light of sight and displays the plurality of images, so that the user can properly grasp the position and state of the image (display target image) of a subject of interest in a whole image and to provide an image display method.SOLUTION: The image display device includes a display controller which controls the display of the image in a display part 12. The display controller simultaneously displays a first image 51 and a second image 52 in the display part 12, makes the position in the display part 12 of the display target image 53 of the first image 51 coincident with the position in the display part 12 of the display target image 53 of the second image 52, and makes a first image display area 54 in which the first image 51 is displayed narrower than a second image display area 56 in which the second image 52 is displayed in the display part 12. |
