PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a conversion candidate of handwritten input using a context of a part of a sentence in which the handwritten input is performed.SOLUTION: A conversion device includes: a handwritten input part which receives handwritten input on a part of a documents to be edited; and a conversion part which generates a conversion candidate of the received handwritten input according to the context acquired by analyzing before, after, or around the part of the document.
