PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly of a double wound stator coil to a stator and to provide a rotary electric machine capable of downsizing the stator coil.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine is so configured that at least a pole coil out of the pole coil and pole pair coils is formed with one direction continuous winding for continuously winding a coil in the same direction. When respective pole pair coils of a phase coil are mounted to a slot, an inter-pole coil connection part (222) is arranged to be a double layer in a slot depth direction (arrow Y direction) in a space near a coil end (12) on a slot open part side (arrow Y1 direction side) or on a slot bottom part side (arrow Y2 direction side). |
