PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to suppress self-heating of film capacitors using a film containing PVDF having a high relative dielectric constant (&egr;), the technique capable of being applied not only to wound type film capacitors but also to laminated type film capacitors.SOLUTION: In a capacitor body section, an electrode film electrically connected to one of two metallicon electrodes, and another electrode film electrically connected to the other one of the two metallicon electrodes are alternately laminated with sandwiching therebetween a dielectric film formed by containing PVDF. An ellipticity (f) of a cross section by a plane parallel to the two metallicon electrodes in the capacitor body section and a distance (L) between the two metallicon electrodes are configured to satisfy a relation set in advance. |
