Provided is an information processing device comprising a processing unit which, when a first communication with a communication target device begins, acquires from the communication target device information relating to the device, including identification information with which it is possible to specify the communication target device, and which carries out a process conducted by means of communication, with the communication target device, by way of the first communication or a second communication having a wider communicable range than the first communication. When the process conducted by means of communication is being carried out by way of the first communication, if the first communication is interrupted during execution of the process conducted by means of communication using the first communication, and if the process conducted by means of communication that was being executed was not completed, then the processing unit begins the second communication using the acquired information relating to the device, and uses the second communication to carry out, with the communication target device, the process conducted by means of communication that was not completed. |
