PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump and cold-hot generation method with which cold-hot generation with little sensible heat loss is possible.SOLUTION: The heat pump includes a vaporizer, a condenser, a hydrogen tank, a hydrogen consumption unit, a hydrogen storage unit accommodating hydrogen-storing alloy, and an adsorption unit accommodating an adsorbent for adsorbing heat transfer medium. The hydrogen storage unit and the adsorption unit are capable of heat-exchange, and the adsorbent is heated by storage-heat generated during storing of hydrogen by the hydrogen-storing alloy, and is regenerated. |
