PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart which can obtain a temporarily required propulsion power with a simple mechanism when riding over a step.SOLUTION: A vehicle body of a handcart 1 is supported on a road surface by a front wheel 3 and rear wheels 4L, 4R. Levers 10L, 10R having pedals 12L, 12R at a tip thereof are so attached to the vehicle body 2 as to be rotatable in a vertical plane, and rotation transmission parts 14L, 14R are fixed or integrally molded to the levers 10L, 10R. Rotation transmitted parts 15L, 15R, to which rotation is transmitted from the rotation transmission parts 14L, 14R, are assembled with the rear wheels 4L, 4R. A unidirectional rotation mechanism is disposed between the rotation transmission parts 14L, 14R and the rear wheels 4L, 4R. The unidirectional rotation mechanism extracts a motive force for front rolling of the rear wheels 4L, 4R from only the rotation transmission parts 4L, 4R which draw a revolution locus when pedals 12L, 12R are used. |
