The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating degenerative brain disease, comprising 5-[(3-Chlorophenyl)amino]benzo [c]-2,6-naphthyridine-8-carboxylic acid (CX-4945) as an active ingredient. CX-4945 of the present invention exhibits highly inhibitory effects in comparison with harmine, INDY, proINDY which are used as a Dyrk1A inhibitor. Thus, CX-4945 can be useful in the composition for preventing and treating degenerative brain disease associated with Dyrk1A.
