摘要 The present invention relates to a battery energy storage system. The battery energy storage system comprises: a battery unit made of one or two storage batteries capable of repeating the process of charging and discharging a predetermined capacity of power; a power management unit electrically connected to a main power supply, a load device, and the battery unit to control the supply of power; a main trip unit provided on a transmission path between the power generation unit and the battery unit to open or close the transmission path; a battery management unit for determining the charge and discharge of the battery by controlling the main trip unit to be opened or closed depending on the state of the battery unit; a driving power unit for supplying the power needed to drive the battery management unit; and a reverse voltage protection unit which is provided on a transmission path between the main trip unit and the battery unit and controlled by the battery management unit, and prevents the power from being reversely transferred to the power management unit from the battery unit when failure or malfunction occurs. When power transmission from the main power supply to the power management unit is blocked, the power is received from the battery unit by controlling the opening and closing of the main trip unit, and then supplied to the load device from the power management unit.
