PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-making apparatus capable of reducing size of the whole of the apparatus.SOLUTION: A box-making apparatus comprises: a rectangular mold 15; a hand part 1 having a suction pad 16 capable of protruding from a tip end of the mold, and advancing and retreating; a first robot 11 capable of moving the four hand parts in a three-dimensional space; and a female mold 45 for erecting four side walls adjoining to a bottom part by pushing the bottom part of a blank carton 1 in. At least one of each pair in two pairs of guide plates constituting the mold makes approaching and leaving movement to the other so that a width size between the guide plates is variable. In a state that the width size is narrow, a pair of the plates functions as a male mold to a female mold, and in a state that the width size is wide, the pair of the plates functions as a female mold in a lid-closing step of the blank carton. |
