PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device allowing a longer lifetime of a light modulation element having higher luminance.SOLUTION: The image projection device comprises: a light modulation element modulating light from a light source according to image information; a projection optical system projecting the light modulated by the light modulation element; and light incidence blocking means for preventing, from entering a light modulation element for blue bandwidth, light from the light source having a wavelength shorter than a predetermined wavelength from among wavelengths in a blue bandwidth. |
