PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing of collecting information from a plurality of radio apparatuses.SOLUTION: An information collection system comprises: an information collector 10; a master apparatus P connected, by wire, to the information collector 10; and slave apparatuses C1 to C7 for performing multi-hop communication together with the master apparatus P. Each slave apparatus is connected to a measuring instrument 12 and acquires measurement data from the measuring instrument 12. The master apparatus P transmits a data transmission instruction packet addressed to an instruction target slave apparatus by using broadcast transmission, which is processing using an unspecified communication path to the instruction target slave apparatus and is processing having packet relay transmission generally performed by respective slave apparatuses. The slave apparatus being the destination of the data transmission instruction packet, after receiving the data transmission instruction packet, generates a response packet including measurement data to transmit the response packet to the master apparatus by using unicast transmission, which is transmission processing using a specified communication path to the master apparatus. |
