PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust tension applied to a tape, when winding a tape continuously around a wire.SOLUTION: A tape tension control method is configured so that: a tape reel 13 around which a tape 11 is wound is rotated for feeding the tape 11 from the tape reel 13, and torque of a rotation shaft of the tape reel 13 is controlled for adjusting tension of the tape 11 fed from the tape reel 13. A flange part 15 of the tape reel 11 has a light reflection part (reflection tape 19) partially provided in a peripheral direction of the flange part 15, and when the flange part 15 is rotated, light is radiated to the light reflection part, a light sensor detects the reflectance, and a rotation number of the tape reel 13 is calculated based on a period of the reflectance. Then, based on the calculated rotation number of the tape reel 13, a winding diameter of the tape 11 of the tape reel 13 is calculated, and according to the calculated winding diameter of the tape 11, predetermined torque is applied to the rotation shaft of the tape reel 13. |
