PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which achieves improvement of battery performance.SOLUTION: A gasket 17 according to an embodiment of the invention is provided between a battery case 5 and a sealing body 10 which seals an opening part of the battery case 5. The gasket 17 contains an adsorbent 30 which adsorbs at least one of moisture and gas occurring in the battery case 5.
