The present invention relates to a method for forming connection portions between multiple electrode tabs and electrode leads of an electrode assembly, which comprises the steps of: (a) positioning the connection portions of the electrode tabs and the electrode leads between an upper jig and a lower jig; and (b) lowering the upper jig to form the connection portions of the electrode tabs and the electrode leads in an approximate V-shape, wherein the upper jig is lowered to a position corresponding to 60-70% of the thickness of the electrode assembly. Accordingly, the present invention sets a reference with respect to the position of the jig for forming the connection portions of the electrode tabs and the electrode leads, thereby preventing disconnection of the electrode tabs as well as reducing work time for adjusting the position of the jig.
