PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and an image processing program capable of accurately performing correction processing in the case of using an unknown paper as the output medium of an image.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises: a data storage part 30 storing property data on plural registered papers and a paper difference correspondence correction curve corresponding to each registered paper; a property data acquisition part 22 which acquires property data expressing the properties of an unregistered paper; a paper difference correction curve generation part 27 which generates a paper difference correction curve corresponding to the unregistered paper by correcting a paper difference correction curve corresponding to a similar paper which is the most similar to the unregistered paper among the registered papers; and a gradation correction part 14 which when using the unregistered paper as the output medium, uses the paper difference correction curve generated by the paper difference correction curve generation part 27 to correct the gradation of the image data. |
