<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight magnetic circuit component with good productivity. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor 1 comprises: a coil 2 having a pair of cylindrical coil elements 2a, 2b; and a magnetic core 3 in which the coil 2 is arranged thereon. The magnetic core 3 is an annular body that defines a closed magnetic circuit by a pair of inner core parts 31 arranged in each of coil elements 2a, 2b and a pair of exposed core parts 32 in which coil elements 2a, 2b are not arranged therein, and comprises a plurality of core pieces formed of a powder-compressed molded body obtained by subjecting soft magnetic powders having same composition to compression molding as a main component. An average grain diameter D<SB POS="POST">S</SB>of an exposed core piece 32m configuring an exposed core part 32 is lower than an average grain diameter D<SB POS="POST">M</SB>of an inner core piece 31m configuring an inner core part 31. The reactor 1 has an improved molding speed because coarse powders can be used as base powders during manufacturing the exposed core piece 32m. An abrasion of a molding die due to a reduction of a spring back can be reduced by a reduction of molding pressure, therefore the reactor 1 also has an improved productivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
